The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the beautiful hiking trails and a stunning view of the mountains. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, with a fantastic shower. the balcony provided a lovely spot to relax and take in the surroundings.
The beds were quite uncomfortable, especially for taller individuals. It was also difficult to regulate the temperature in the room, as the comforters provided were too warm for the summer weather.

The value for money at Malteserhaus was excellent! The room was clean and well-equipped, with a comfy bed and a balcony with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the train station and Main Street, yet tucked away in a quieter area. The staff, especially Carina and her team, were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us during our stay.
The hotel breakfast could use some improvement.

This hotel is ideally located near the city center, making it convenient for exploring the town and accessing public transportation. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is stylish, with high-quality materials. Guests can enjoy a great view of the mountains, and some rooms even have a view of the famous Matterhorn peak. Additionally, the hotel offers cooking facilities and a romantic candle for a memorable dinner experience.
The communication from the hotel management regarding key pick-up and balcony view was lacking, causing some disappointment and inconvenience for guests.

The 5-bed apartment had a cozy double bedroom, a cool single bedroom, and a comfy fold-away double bed in the living room. It felt like a home away from home and gave us plenty of space to relax. As a laid-back traveler, I appreciated the flexibility in sleeping arrangements.
Personally, I found the private entrance of the apartment a bit inconvenient. It wasn't a big issue, but I preferred having a more direct access to the building.

Our stay at Malteserhaus was truly enjoyable. The cleanliness of the room impressed us, and all the amenities provided were a great convenience. We loved being able to prepare our own meals with the well-stocked kitchen.
Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the slight hardness of the beds and the absence of a guide for recycling, they did not overshadow the great stay we had. We highly recommend Malteserhaus for anyone visiting Zermatt.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Malteserhaus in Zermatt. Our room was well-maintained and clean upon check-in, with a queen-sized mattress sofa bed that was incredibly comfortable. The apartment had a modern design and offered a beautiful view of the Matterhorn's peak. The location was convenient, with a short walk or bus ride to the train station. The house manager, Christina, was friendly and informative, providing us with a warm welcome and helpful information. We especially appreciated the abundance of power outlets and the provided coffee machine. We would definitely book this apartment again on our next visit to Zermatt.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
